Tiger Kingdom,Chang Mai

Today visited a remarkable place that primarily exists to protect, conserve and breed Tigers.
Interaction with humans is how the facility financially can exist.By us tourists paying to get up close and personal with these magnificent and endangered animals. So the ethical and moral argument about whether the Tigers are exploited are moot.I can definitely testify that they are not treated cruelly and there best interests are the driving force.
Here endeth the lesson, enjoy the pics.

Siem Reap

Just reflecting that we are well into our third week on the road and I have been able to blog and keep up with email and Facebook, only because from KL onwards free hi speed wifi has been available at every airport and hotel, most cafes and public places also.
Australia wake up!

Siem Reap Cambodia

A few pics of the town

Angkor Wat

The most well known of the Wats and consequently the busiest. We probably preferred Bayon it is bigger and has more statues in better condition, however they are both magnificent.

Angkor Thom

Temperature is about 36 degrees and not much shade but the content and quality of these incredible centuries old monuments is astounding.there are of course many more inaccessible temples in the area, there are also 5 million undiscovered landmines ....
